# Ochra > Ochra is a mobile teacher for people learning to paint on real media. It pairs > structured, technique-specific lessons with feedback on photos of the physical > work in progress: you paint on your own paper, photograph each step, and get > back at most three things, each one with what to do next. This file is a plain-text overview for AI and LLM crawlers, served at `/llms.txt` and advertised from every page as an `alternate` link. ## What it is - **Real media, never a generator.** The artwork happens on real paper and canvas, made by the learner. Ochra looks, teaches and says what to fix next; it never paints for anyone and is not an image generator. - **Lessons.** Watercolor first, in pans or tubes. An ordered path from easy to hard, one thing per lesson, running from materials and water to a simple landscape. Lesson text is written and reviewed by a person, never generated at run time. Other techniques — watercolor pencils, acrylic, oil — get their own paths later. - **Feedback.** At the end of each step the learner photographs the paper and gets a reading of it: at most three marks on the photograph, each with a note saying what is wrong and why, or what worked and why it was hard, and what to do next. There are no scores, grades, stars or streaks. Every reading carries its own limit: it is read from a photograph, and if the paper says otherwise, the paper wins. - **Who it is for.** People teaching themselves to paint who already follow tutorials but have nobody to look at their own work. All ages. ## Key facts - Platform: iOS and Android. The marketing site is the public surface; the product itself is the mobile app. - Languages: English and Spanish.
